Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Cook the Meat: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or turkey until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess fat. Stir in the taco seasoning and 2/3 cup of water, bringing it to a simmer until the mixture thickens. Set aside.

Prepare the First Layer: Place one flour tortilla on a baking sheet. Spread 1/4 cup of refried beans evenly over the tortilla. Then, layer half of the taco meat mixture over the beans.

Add Salsa & Cheese: Spread 1/4 cup of salsa over the meat layer. Top with half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheese blend.

Add the Second Layer: Place another tortilla on top of your layered ingredients, gently pressing down. Repeat the layers: spread the remaining 1/4 cup of refried beans, the rest of the taco meat, salsa, and top with the remaining cheese.

Bake the Pizza: Place in the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the tortillas are golden brown.

Add Fresh Toppings: Once out of the oven, immediately sprinkle the diced tomatoes, black olives, and green onions on top. Allow the pizza to cool for a few minutes for easier cutting.

Serve: Cut into quarters or slices. Serve with a dollop of sour cream on the side, and if desired, add hot sauce or shredded lettuce for extra flavor.

Garnish (optional): Finish with fresh cilantro for a burst of freshness.
