Ingredients

1 pound ground beef or turkey

1 cup breadcrumbs (Italian seasoned or plain)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

1/2 cup onion, finely diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 large egg

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand or homemade)

1/2 cup grape jelly

Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Meatball Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef (or turkey), breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, diced onion, minced garlic, egg, salt, black pepper, and oregano. Use your hands or a fork to mix until well combined.

Form the Meatballs: With your hands, scoop about 1.5 tablespoons of the meat mixture and roll it into a ball. Repeat until all the mixture is formed into meatballs; this should yield around 20-24 meatballs.

Set Up the Crockpot: Spray the inside of your crockpot with cooking oil. Place the meatballs in a single layer in the bottom of the crockpot.

Make the Sauce: In a medium bowl, mix together the BBQ sauce and grape jelly until well blended. This will create a sweet and savory glaze for your meatballs.

Cook the Meatballs: Pour the BBQ glaze evenly over the meatballs in the crockpot. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until the meatballs are cooked through and the sauce is bubbly.

Garnish and Serve: Once cooked, carefully spoon the meatballs onto a serving platter. Drizzle some sauce from the crockpot over them and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Enjoy: Serve these delicious meatballs as an appetizer, party dish, or main course with rice, pasta, or a fresh salad.
