For the Noodle Bake:

8 ounces egg noodles

2 cups beef broth

1 cup heavy cream

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

2 tablespoons dijon mustard

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 cup frozen peas (optional)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup sour cream

Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Meatballs:

    - In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, onion, garlic, egg, salt, pepper, allspice, and nutmeg. Mix until well incorporated.

      - Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

        - Form the meat mixture into small meatballs (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on the baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until browned and cooked through.

          Cook the Noodles:

            - While the meatballs are baking, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

              Prepare the Sauce:

                - In a mixing bowl, whisk together the beef broth, heavy cream, Worcestershire sauce, dijon mustard, and soy sauce until smooth. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.

                  Assemble the Bake:

                    - In a large casserole dish, combine the cooked noodles, frozen peas (if using), sour cream, and the sauce mixture. Stir in the baked meatballs until everything is well combined.

                      - Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.

                        Bake:

                          - Cover the casserole dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.

                            Serve:

                              - Once done, remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
