Ingredients

For the Dough:

4 cups all-purpose flour

½ cup granulated sugar

1 packet (2 ¼ teaspoons) instant yeast

1 teaspoon salt

1 cup milk (warm)

⅓ cup unsalted butter (melted)

2 large eggs

For the Filling:

1 cup fresh strawberries (chopped)

½ cup brown sugar

2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

½ cup unsalted butter (softened)

For the Cream Cheese Frosting:

8 oz cream cheese (softened)

½ cup unsalted butter (softened)

2 cups powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon milk (or more for desired consistency)

Instructions

Prepare the Dough:

In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm milk, melted butter, and sugar. Stir in the yeast and let it sit for about 5 minutes until it's frothy.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and salt. Gradually add the flour mixture to the yeast mixture, followed by the eggs. Mix until a soft dough forms.

Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until it has doubled in size.

          Prepare the Filling:

In a small bowl, mix together the chopped strawberries, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Set this aside.

              Roll out the Dough:

After the dough has risen, punch it down and turn it out onto a floured work surface. Roll it into a large rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.

                  Assemble the Rolls:

Spread the softened butter evenly over the rolled-out dough. Sprinkle the cinnamon mixture, followed by the chopped strawberries evenly across the surface.

Starting from one edge, tightly roll the dough into a log. Pinch the seam closed to seal. Cut the roll into 12 equal pieces and place them in a greased 9x13 inch baking pan.

Cover with a towel and let them rise again for about 30 minutes, until puffy.

                          Bake the Rolls:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.

                              Prepare the Frosting:

While the rolls are baking, prepare the cream cheese frosting. In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and butter until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined. Add milk a tablespoon at a time until your desired consistency is reached.

                                  Frost and Serve:

Once the rolls are out of the oven, allow them to cool for about 10 minutes. Generously drizzle the cream cheese frosting over the warm rolls, allowing it to melt slightly into the nooks and crannies.

Serve warm and enjoy your delicious Strawberry Cheesecake Cinnabon Rolls!
