Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

3 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon sesame oil (for cooking)

Chopped green onions and sesame seeds, for garnish

Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, Sriracha sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and minced ginger until well combined. Set aside about two tablespoons of the marinade for later use.

Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the remaining marinade over them. Ensure the salmon is evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, allowing the flavors to penetrate the fish.

Preheat the Pan: Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Allow the oil to heat until shimmering but not smoking.

Cook the Salmon: Remove the salmon from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Carefully place the fillets skin-side down in the hot skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes, allowing the skin to become crispy.

Flip and Glaze: Gently flip the salmon fillets and brush the reserved marinade on the cooked side. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. (Adjust cooking time depending on the thickness of the fillets.)

Serve: Transfer the glazed salmon to serving plates. Drizzle with any remaining sauce from the pan, and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve with lemon wedges on the side for an extra zesty touch.
