Ingredients

2 pounds chicken wings, separated into flats and drumettes

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp smoked paprika

1 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

1 tsp ground black pepper

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp baking powder (for extra crispiness)

1/4 cup hot sauce (like Frank's RedHot or your favorite brand)

2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Celery sticks and blue cheese dressing (for serving)

Instructions

Prep the Chicken Wings:

    - Rinse and pat dry the chicken wings with paper towels. This helps to ensure they get crispy in the air fryer.

      Season the Wings:

        - In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, black pepper, salt, and baking powder. Mix well.

          - Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss them until they are evenly coated with the spice mixture.

            Air Fry the Wings:

              - Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

                - Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding for even cooking (you may need to do this in batches).

                  - Air fry the wings for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are golden brown and crispy.

                    Prepare the Spicy Sauce:

                      - While the wings are cooking, in a small bowl, mix the hot sauce and melted butter until well combined.

                        Toss in Sauce:

                          - Once the wings are done cooking, transfer them to a clean large bowl. Pour the hot sauce mixture over the wings and toss until evenly coated.

                            Serve:

                              - Plate the spicy wings and sprinkle with chopped parsley for garnish. Serve with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing on the side for dipping.
