1 pound of breakfast sausage (mild or spicy, your choice)

1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 cup finely chopped green onions

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 egg (for egg wash)

Cooking spray or parchment paper (for baking)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). If using a baking sheet, line it with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.

    Cook the Sausage: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until it is browned and fully cooked, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon. Drain any excess grease.

      Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked sausage, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped green onions, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly combined.

        Prepare the Crescent Rolls: Open the package of crescent roll dough and carefully unroll it on a clean surface. Separate the dough into individual triangles.
