Sausage and Cheese Breakfast Pizza

1 pre-made pizza crust (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup breakfast sausage, crumbled and cooked

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

4 large eggs

1/4 cup milk

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon onion powder

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

2 green onions, sliced

Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Optional: Hot sauce for serving

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat as well.

    Prepare the Pizza Crust: Roll out the pre-made pizza crust on a lightly floured surface to fit your pizza stone or baking sheet. Transfer it to a parchment-lined baking sheet if not using a stone.

      Cook the Sausage: In a skillet over medium heat, add a tablespoon of olive oil. Add the crumbled breakfast sausage and cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if needed and set aside.

        Mix the Eggs: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.

          Add Sausage and Cheese: Distribute the cooked sausage evenly over the prepared pizza crust. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese on top of the sausage.

            Pour the Egg Mixture: Carefully pour the egg mixture over the sausage and cheese, ensuring it spreads evenly.

              Top with Tomatoes and Green Onions: Scatter the halved cherry tomatoes and sliced green onions over the egg mixture.

                Bake the Pizza: Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

                  Garnish and Serve: Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and slice into wedges. Serve warm with optional hot sauce on the side.
