Ingredients

2 cups elbow macaroni

1 cup cooked and crumbled bacon (about 8 slices)

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup cucumber, diced

½ cup celery, finely chopped

½ cup red onion, finely chopped

1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, cubed

1 cup ranch dressing

¼ cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried dill)

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar for added tang

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool. Set aside.

Prepare the Vegetables: While the pasta is cooking, prepare the vegetables. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cherry tomatoes, cucumber, celery, and red onion.

Combine Ingredients: Add the cooled macaroni and cooked bacon to the bowl with the vegetables. Fold in the cubed cheddar cheese.

Make the Dressing: In a separate bowl, whisk together the ranch dressing, mayonnaise, chopped dill, and optional apple cider vinegar. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Mix It Up: Pour the dressing over the macaroni mixture. Gently toss until everything is well coated.

Chill: Cover the salad and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.

Serve: Give the salad a gentle stir just before serving. Optionally, garnish with extra bacon bits and fresh dill for an inviting presentation.
