2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced

2 cups broccoli florets

8 oz fettuccine or pasta of your choice

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. In the last 3 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets to the boiling pasta. Drain and set aside, reserving 1 cup of pasta water.

    Brown the Chicken: In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add the diced chicken and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for about 5-7 minutes or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.

      Sauté the Garlic: Add the minced garlic to the skillet with the chicken. Sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant.

        Make the Alfredo Sauce: Pour in the heavy cream and stir, scraping any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Allow it to simmer for about 2-3 minutes. Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.

          Combine: Add the cooked pasta and broccoli to the skillet, tossing gently to coat everything in the creamy sauce. Allow it to cook together for another 2-3 minutes to heat through.
