4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup canned pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)

1 medium onion, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh sage, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried sage)

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

1 cup chicken broth

1/2 cup heavy cream

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Optional: toasted pumpkin seeds for garnish

Instructions
 

Prepare the Chicken:

    - Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and ground cinnamon.

      Sear the Chicken:

        - In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned chicken breasts and sear them for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

          Sauté the Onions and Garlic:
