2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon ginger powder

1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional for spice)

1 cup diced fresh pineapple (optional, for texture)

For Garnish:

Chopped green onions

Sesame seeds

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

Make the Meatball Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, parsley, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

Form the Meatballs: Using your hands, shape the mixture into small meatballs (about 1-inch in diameter) and place them on the prepared baking tray.

Bake the Meatballs: Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are cooked through and browned on the outside.

Prepare the Pineapple BBQ Sauce: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the pineapple juice, ketchup, soy sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, ginger powder, and red pepper flakes. Bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring occasionally, and let it cook for about 10 minutes until slightly thickened.

Add Diced Pineapple (Optional): If using, stir in the diced fresh pineapple to the sauce for added texture and flavor.

Glaze the Meatballs: Once the meatballs are baked, remove them from the oven and transfer them to the saucepan with the pineapple BBQ sauce. Gently toss the meatballs in the sauce until they are well-coated.

Serve: Transfer the meatballs to a serving platter and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds for an extra touch.

Enjoy: Serve immediately with rice, on skewers, or as an appetizer. Enjoy the tropical flavors that will delight your taste buds!
