Ingredients

1 large store-bought or homemade flatbread (about 10-12 inches)

2 ripe peaches, thinly sliced

1 ball of fresh burrata cheese (about 8 ounces)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon balsamic glaze (plus extra for drizzling)

1 teaspoon honey (optional)

1 small handful of fresh basil leaves, torn

Salt and pepper to taste

Crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for a little heat)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). If you're using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up as well.

Prepare the Flatbread: Place the flatbread on a baking sheet or a preheated pizza stone. Brush the top lightly with olive oil to help it crisp up in the oven.

Layer the Peaches: Distribute the thinly sliced peaches evenly across the flatbread. Make sure they are spread out well to ensure every bite gets the sweet flavor.

Add the Burrata: Tear the burrata cheese into chunks and distribute them over the peach slices. The creamy texture will complement the sweet peaches beautifully.

Seasoning: Drizzle a small amount of balsamic glaze over the flatbread and season with salt and pepper to taste. If you want a touch of sweetness, drizzle the honey over the peaches.

Bake: Place the flatbread in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes or until the flatbread is crispy and the burrata is slightly warmed and melty.

Finishing Touches: Once out of the oven, remove the flatbread and let it cool slightly. Scatter the torn basil leaves on top, and for a bit of heat, sprinkle some crushed red pepper flakes if desired.

Serve: Drizzle with additional balsamic glaze and a finishing touch of olive oil. Slice and serve immediately. Enjoy this gourmet flatbread as an appetizer or light meal!
