Oreo Cookies and Cream Cinnamon Rolls

For the Dough:

4 cups all-purpose flour

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast

1 tsp salt

1 cup whole milk, warmed to 110°F (43°C)

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 large eggs

For the Filling:

1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

1 tbsp ground cinnamon

1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup crushed Oreo cookies (about 10-12 cookies)

For the Cream Cheese Glaze:

4 oz cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

2-3 tbsp milk

Instructions
 

Prepare the Dough:

    - In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.

      - Add melted butter, eggs, and salt to the yeast mixture. Slowly mix in the flour, one cup at a time, until a dough forms.

        - Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.

          - Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

            Make the Filling:

              - In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon together.

                - Roll out the risen dough on a floured surface into a rectangle (about 16x12 inches).

                  - Spread the softened butter evenly over the dough, then sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture and crushed Oreo cookies on top.

                    Roll and Cut:

                      - Starting from the long side, carefully roll the dough tightly into a log.

                        - Cut the log into 12 equal pieces using a sharp knife or dental floss.

                          Prepare for Baking:

                            - Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish and arrange the cut rolls inside. Cover with a kitchen towel and let rise for another 30 minutes.
