Ingredients

8 oz wide egg noodles

1 lb ground beef

1 tbsp vegetable oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 inch ginger, grated

1 cup bell pepper, thinly sliced (red or green)

1 cup broccoli florets

1 carrot, julienned

4 green onions, chopped (white and green parts separated)

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 tbsp hoisin sauce

2 tbsp oyster sauce

1 tbsp sesame oil

1 tbsp brown sugar

1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

Cook the Noodles: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Brown the Beef: In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula (about 5-7 minutes). Drain excess fat if necessary.

Sauté Aromatics: Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet, cooking for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the sliced bell pepper, julienned carrot, and broccoli florets, sautéing for another 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.

Combine Sauces: In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, and crushed red pepper flakes. Stir until the sugar dissolves.

Combine Everything: Pour the sauce mixture over the beef and vegetable mixture, stirring to coat everything well. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, tossing everything together until the noodles are heated through and coated in the sauce.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat, add chopped green onions, and mix gently. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds and additional green onions if desired.
