Ingredients

1 pound ground chicken

4 ounces Swiss cheese, shredded

4 ounces ham, diced

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 egg, beaten

1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko works best for extra crunch)

12 slider buns

Butter, for toasting buns

Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, shredded Swiss cheese, diced ham, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and beaten egg. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.

Form the Sliders: With your hands, take about 2 tablespoons of the mixture and form it into a small patty (approximately 2 inches in diameter). Repeat until all the mixture is used, making about 12 patties.

Coat the Patties: Place breadcrumbs in a shallow plate. Dip each chicken patty in the breadcrumbs, ensuring they are fully coated. This adds a delicious crunch to your sliders.

Cook the Patties: Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat. Add a splash of oil to the pan. Cook the breaded patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).

Toast the Buns: While the patties are cooking, melt some butter in another skillet (or use the same one after removing the patties). Toast the slider buns until golden on both sides.

Assemble the Sliders: On the bottom half of each toasted bun, place a cooked chicken patty. If desired, add additional Swiss cheese on top, and cover with the top half of the bun.

Garnish and Serve: Optionally garnish with fresh parsley for color. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce, such as honey mustard or ranch dressing.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 12 sliders
