1 pound ground turkey

1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/4 cup chopped green onions (for garnish)

Cooking spray or a little olive oil for greasing the baking sheet

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet with cooking spray or olive oil.

    Cook the Turkey: In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground turkey. Cook, breaking it up with a spatula until browned and cooked through (about 6-8 minutes). Drain any excess fat.

      Season the Turkey: Stir in the BBQ sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.

        Prepare the Biscuits: While the turkey is simmering, open the can of biscuit dough. Separate each biscuit and flatten them using your hands or a rolling pin into small, round disks (about 3 inches across).

          Assemble the Melts: Place the flattened biscuits on the greased baking sheet. Spoon a generous amount of the BBQ turkey mixture onto the center of each biscuit, enough to cover it but leave some space around the edges. Top each with a handful of shredded cheddar cheese.

            Create Biscuit Tops: Take the remaining biscuits and flatten them as you did before. Place each flattened biscuit over the turkey and cheese, gently pressing around the edges to seal.

              Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.

                Garnish and Serve: Once out of the oven, remove from the baking sheet and let cool for about 5 minutes. Sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving for a fresh touch.
