Ingredients

For the Fries:

4 large russet potatoes

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and black pepper to taste

For the Topping:

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup crispy bacon pieces

1/4 cup sliced green onions

1/4 cup sour cream (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

    Prepare the Fries:

      - Wash and peel the russet potatoes. Cut them into thin strips (about 1/4 inch thick).

        - In a large bowl, toss the potato strips with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.

          Bake the Fries:

            - Spread the seasoned potato strips in a single layer on a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper. You may need two sheets to avoid overcrowding.

              - Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through, until the fries are golden brown and crispy.

                Prepare the BBQ Chicken:

                  - While the fries are baking, mix the shredded chicken with the BBQ sauce in a bowl until well coated.

                    Assemble the Loaded Fries:

                      - Once the fries are done, remove them from the oven.

                        - Evenly distribute the BBQ chicken mixture over the baked fries.

                          - Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top and return the baking sheet to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

                            Add Toppings:

                              - Carefully remove the loaded fries from the oven.

                                - Sprinkle the crispy bacon pieces and sliced green onions over the top. If desired, drizzle with sour cream.

                                  Serve:

                                    - Allow the loaded BBQ chicken baked fries to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your delicious creation with friends and family!
