For the Turkey Patties:

1 lb ground turkey

1/2 cup finely diced onion

1/2 cup grated zucchini (squeeze out excess moisture)

1/4 cup breadcrumbs

1 egg

2 tbsp Dijon mustard

1 tbsp honey

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

For the Honey Mustard Sauce:

1/4 cup mayonnaise

2 tbsp Dijon mustard

2 tbsp honey

1 tsp apple cider vinegar

Salt and pepper to taste

For Assembly:

12 slider buns

Sliced tomato

Lettuce leaves

Pickles or cucumber slices (optional)

Olive oil for grilling

Instructions
 

Prepare the Turkey Patties:

    - In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, diced onion, grated zucchini, breadcrumbs, egg, Dijon mustard, honey, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined, but do not overmix.

      Form the Sliders:

        - Divide the mixture into 12 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty to promote even cooking.

          Cook the Patties:

            - Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Add a drizzle of olive oil. Once hot, cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side or until they are cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

              Prepare the Honey Mustard Sauce:

                - In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, honey, apple cider vinegar, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.

                  Toast the Buns:

                    - Lightly toast the slider buns in the skillet or grill pan for about 1 minute or until golden.

                      Assemble the Sliders:

                        - Spread a generous amount of honey mustard sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Place the turkey patty on top, followed by a slice of tomato, a lettuce leaf, and optional pickles or cucumber slices. Cap with the top half of the bun.

                          Serve:
