Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)

1 cup fresh cherries, pitted and halved

1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped

1/2 cup brie cheese, sliced

1/4 cup balsamic glaze

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

4 slider buns

Arugula or mixed greens for garnish

Olive oil for grilling

Instructions

Prepare the Cherry Topping: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the pitted and halved cherries with the balsamic glaze. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently until the cherries soften and the glaze thickens slightly. Set aside to cool.

Make the Patties: In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently with your hands until just combined. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into slider patties.

Grill the Patties: Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Lightly brush the grill grates with olive oil. Once hot, place the slider patties on the grill. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side. Flip the patties and add a slice of brie cheese on top of each patty. Continue grilling for another 3-4 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the patties reach your desired doneness.

Toast the Buns: While the patties are grilling, cut the slider buns in half and place them cut-side down on the grill for about 1-2 minutes until they are golden and lightly toasted.

Assemble the Sliders: Once the patties are done, remove them from the grill. Start by placing a generous handful of arugula or mixed greens on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Top each with a grilled patty, followed by a spoonful of the grilled cherry mixture.

Finish and Serve: Place the top halves of the buns on each slider. For an extra touch, you can drizzle more balsamic glaze over the sliders before serving. Enjoy your juicy Grilled Cherry Sliders!
