1 pound ground chicken

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (preferably Italian seasoned)

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 egg

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (or 2 tablespoons dried parsley)

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/4 cup milk

1/4 cup marinara sauce (for topping)

Extra Parmesan cheese (for garnish)

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or lightly greased.

    Mix Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped onion, egg, parsley, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and milk. Use your hands or a spoon to mix until all ingredients are well combined, being careful not to overmix.

      Shape Meatloaves: Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each into a small loaf (about the size of a baseball). Place the shaped meatloaves on the prepared baking sheet, spaced apart to allow even cooking.

        Add Marinara Sauce: Spoon a tablespoon of marinara sauce on top of each meatloaf, spreading it slightly to cover the surface.

          Bake: Place the meatloaves in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the meatloaves are golden brown on top.

            Garnish: Once cooked, remove from the oven and sprinkle additional Parmesan cheese on top. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Optionally, garnish with fresh parsley.
