1 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a mini muffin tin with paper liners or spray it with non-stick spray for easy removal.

    Melt the Butter: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the unsalted butter until it's completely liquid. Allow it to cool slightly.

      Mix the Wet Ingredients: Once cooled, add the granulated sugar to the melted butter and stir until well combined. Then, add in the eggs one at a time, whisking thoroughly after each addition. Finally, stir in the vanilla extract.

        Combine the Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, sift together the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. This step helps achieve a smoother batter by aerating the dry ingredients.
