1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (dark chocolate recommended)

1/4 teaspoon sea salt (optional)

1 tablespoon chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Bananas: Peel the bananas and cut them into 1/2-inch thick slices. Arrange them on a parchment-lined baking sheet in a single layer.

Make the Yogurt Mixture: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and sea salt (if using). Stir until well blended.

Assemble the Bites: Using a spoon, place a dollop of the yogurt mixture on top of each banana slice. Sprinkle mini chocolate chips and chopped nuts (if using) over the yogurt.

Freeze the Bites: Place the baking sheet with the assembled banana bites in the freezer. Freeze for at least 2 hours or until fully frozen.

Serve: Once frozen, remove the bites from the baking sheet and transfer them to a zip-top bag or an airtight container. Enjoy them straight from the freezer or let them sit for a couple of minutes to soften slightly before indulging.

Storage: Store the frozen yogurt banana bites in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
