Ingredients

2 ripe bananas

1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and halved

1 cup Greek yogurt (vanilla or plain)

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional, for extra sweetness)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup crushed graham crackers (for coating)

1/4 cup chopped nuts (e.g., almonds or walnuts, optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Bananas: Peel the bananas and slice them into 1-inch thick rounds. Set them aside on a plate lined with parchment paper.

Mix the Yogurt: In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup (if using), and vanilla extract until well combined and smooth.

Coat the Banana Slices: Dip each banana slice into the yogurt mixture, making sure it’s fully coated. Then, using a fork, gently shake off any excess yogurt.

Add Strawberry Topping: Place a halved strawberry on top of each yogurt-coated banana slice, pressing it down lightly so it adheres.

Roll in Coatings (Optional): In a separate shallow dish, mix the crushed graham crackers and chopped nuts. Roll the yogurt-coated banana strawberry bites into this mixture for added crunch and flavor.

Freeze: Carefully arrange the coated banana strawberry bites back on the parchment-lined plate. Place the plate in the freezer and let the bites freeze for at least 2 hours or until solid.

Serve: Once frozen, remove the bites from the freezer and allow them to sit at room temperature for a minute or two for easier eating. Enjoy these sweet, frosty treats!
