Ingredients

2 cups plain Greek yogurt

1/2 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled

1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (adjust based on sweetness preference)

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup hazelnuts, chopped (plus extra for garnish)

1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (dairy-free if desired)

Pinch of sea salt

Instructions

Prepare the Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, cooled coffee, cocoa powder, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt. Whisk thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and fully combined.

Add Hazelnuts and Chocolate: Gently fold in the chopped hazelnuts and dark chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the yogurt mixture.

Pour into Pan: Line an 8x8-inch square baking dish or an equivalent pan with parchment paper (leaving extra hanging over the sides for easy removal). Pour the yogurt mixture into the pan, spreading it out evenly with a spatula.

Freeze: Cover the dish with plastic wrap or a lid and place it in the freezer. Allow it to freeze for at least 4-6 hours, or until completely set.

Cut into Squares: Once frozen, remove the yogurt block from the pan using the parchment paper overhang. Place it on a cutting board and slice it into squares or rectangles based on your preference.

Serve and Garnish: Serve the squares immediately for a soft bite, or let sit at room temperature for a few minutes for a slightly softer texture. Garnish with extra chopped hazelnuts and a drizzle of melted dark chocolate if desired.

Store: Any leftover squares can be stored in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
