Ingredients

2 cups of seedless grapes (red or green)

1 cup of white granulated sugar

1 tablespoon of lemon juice

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon of sea salt

Optional: unsweetened cocoa powder or ground cinnamon for dusting

Instructions

Wash and Dry Grapes:

Rinse the grapes under cold water to remove any dirt. Pat them dry gently using a paper towel. Make sure they are thoroughly dry to help the sugar stick.

      Prepare the Sugar Mixture:

In a medium bowl, combine the granulated sugar, sea salt, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Mix well until the sugar absorbs the lemon juice and forms a slightly damp mixture. It should be crumbly but hold together when pressed.

          Sugar Coating:

Take each grape and roll it in the sugar mixture until it is fully coated. Ensure each grape is evenly covered for a sweet exterior.

              Freeze the Grapes:

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the coated grapes in a single layer on the sheet, ensuring they aren't touching each other. This will help them freeze evenly without sticking together.

                  Freeze Time:

Place the baking sheet in the freezer and let the grapes freeze for at least 2-3 hours, or until solid.

                      Serve:

Once frozen, you can enjoy these icy treats immediately. For an extra touch, you can dust them with a little cocoa powder or ground cinnamon before serving to elevate the flavor.

                          Storage:

If you have leftovers (which is unlikely!), transfer the frozen grapes to an airtight container or a zip-lock bag and keep them in the freezer for up to two weeks.
