Ingredients

4 ripe bananas

1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

Optional toppings: crushed nuts, shredded coconut, or mini chocolate chips

Instructions

Prepare the Bananas: Peel the bananas and place them in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth with no lumps remaining. You can also mash them with a fork if you prefer some texture.

Mix the Base: In a bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Whisk until smooth and well combined.

Combine the Mixtures: Gently fold the banana puree into the yogurt mixture, ensuring it's evenly combined, but be careful not to overmix; a few swirls of banana are nice for presentation.

Layer the Mixture: Spoon the banana-yogurt mixture into popsicle molds, filling them about ⅔ full. Tap the molds gently on the counter to eliminate air bubbles.

Create the Cinnamon Swirl: Using a toothpick or a skewer, gently swirl the remaining banana mixture through the yogurt base to create a marbled effect. Don't overdo it; the surprise swirl is the key!

Insert Sticks and Freeze: Insert popsicle sticks into the molds. Cover with a lid or plastic wrap and freeze for at least 4-6 hours or until completely solid.

Unmold and Serve: To remove the pops from the molds, run warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds. Gently pull the pops out and enjoy immediately! If desired, dip the tops in crushed nuts, shredded coconut, or mini chocolate chips for added texture.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 6 hours | Servings: 8 pops
