Ingredients
  

2 medium cucumbers, thinly sliced

1 medium red onion, thinly sliced

1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon sugar

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)

Optional: cherry tomatoes, halved (for added color and flavor)

Instructions
 

In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced cucumbers and red onion. If using cherry tomatoes, add them to the bowl as well.

    In a separate small bowl, whisk together the apple cider vinegar, olive oil, sugar, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and chopped dill until the sugar and salt are dissolved.

      Pour the dressing over the cucumber and onion mixture, tossing gently until all the vegetables are well coated with the dressing.

        Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer the salad to an airtight container. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

          Before serving, give the salad a quick toss and adjust the seasoning with more salt or pepper if desired. Serve chilled and enjoy the refreshing taste of this vibrant salad!
