Ingredients

For the Crispy Baked Salmon:

4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each, skin on)

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon sea salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Juice of 1 lemon

For the Dill Yogurt Sauce:

1 cup plain Greek yogurt

2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried dill)

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon garlic, minced

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preheat Your Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Prepare the Salmon: In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, sea salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down, and brush the mixture generously over the top of each fillet.

Bake the Salmon: Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The top should be crispy and golden.

Make the Dill Yogurt Sauce: While the salmon is baking, prepare the dill yogurt sauce. In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, fresh dill, lemon juice, minced garlic, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix until smooth and well combined.

Serve: Once the salmon is done, remove it from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Serve the crispy salmon fillets with a generous dollop of dill yogurt sauce on top, garnished with extra dill and lemon wedges if desired.

Enjoy! Pair with a side of roasted vegetables or a fresh green salad for a complete meal.
