Ingredients

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cups broccoli florets

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

8 ounces fettuccine pasta

Salt and pepper to taste

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Optional: Red pepper flakes, for a spicy kick

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.

Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season the cubed chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Add to the skillet and cook for about 6-8 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Add Broccoli and Garlic: In the same skillet, add the broccoli florets and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until tender but still crisp. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.

Make the Alfredo Sauce: Reduce the heat to low, then pour in the heavy cream. Stir well and simmer for a couple of minutes. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and creamy, adjusting the consistency with reserved pasta water as needed.

Combine Everything: Return the cooked chicken and drained fettuccine to the skillet. Toss everything together until well coated in the Alfredo sauce. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley and optional red pepper flakes for a little heat. Serve warm and enjoy your delicious creamy chicken and broccoli Alfredo!
