Ingredients

2 ripe avocados

1 cup fresh cilantro leaves, packed

1/4 cup Greek yogurt (or dairy-free yogurt)

2 tablespoons lime juice (freshly squeezed)

1-2 cloves garlic (minced)

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons olive oil

1-2 tablespoons water (for desired consistency)

Instructions

Prepare the Avocados: Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a blender or food processor.

Add Ingredients: Add the cilantro leaves, Greek yogurt, lime juice, minced garlic, ground cumin, salt, black pepper, and olive oil to the blender.

Blend Until Smooth: Blend the mixture on high speed until it becomes creamy and smooth. You may need to stop and scrape the sides of the blender with a spatula to ensure everything is well combined.

Adjust Consistency: If the sauce is too thick for your liking, add 1-2 tablespoons of water gradually until you reach your desired consistency. Blend again to incorporate.

Taste and Adjust: Taste the sauce and adjust with more lime juice, salt, or garlic if needed.

Serve: Transfer the creamy avocado cilantro sauce to a bowl and serve immediately, or refrigerate it in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
