Ingredients

2 ripe avocados

1 cup fresh cilantro leaves, tightly packed

1 clove garlic, minced

1 small jalapeño, seeded and chopped (optional for heat)

Juice of 1 lime

1/2 cup Greek yogurt (or sour cream)

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil (optional, for richness)

1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional, for a smoky flavor)

Instructions

Prepare the Avocados: Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a blender or food processor.

Add the Aromatics: Add the fresh cilantro leaves, minced garlic, jalapeño (if using), lime juice, Greek yogurt, salt, and pepper.

Blend: Pulse the mixture until smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides of the blender as needed to ensure all ingredients are well combined.

Adjust Texture: If the dip appears too thick, you can add a tablespoon of water or more lime juice to achieve your desired consistency.

Add Olive Oil and Smoky Flavor (optional): If you prefer richer flavor, blend in the olive oil and smoked paprika until incorporated.

Taste and Season: Adjust salt and pepper to taste. Blend again if adding more seasoning to ensure it's well mixed.

Chill: Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, cover with plastic wrap (pressing it directly onto the surface of the dip to prevent browning), and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.

Serve: Serve with tortilla chips, pita bread, or fresh vegetable sticks. Enjoy!
