Ingredients

2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)

6 large eggs

1 cup milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp nutmeg (optional)

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup maple syrup

1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)

1/2 cup raisins (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray or butter.

Prepare the Cinnamon Rolls: Open the cans of cinnamon rolls and cut each roll into quarters. Place the pieces in the greased baking dish, spreading them evenly across the bottom.

Make the Egg Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, nutmeg (if using), and brown sugar until well combined.

Combine and Mix: Pour the egg mixture evenly over the cinnamon roll pieces in the baking dish. Gently press down the cinnamon rolls to ensure they soak up the egg mixture.

Add Extra Flavors (Optional): If desired, sprinkle chopped pecans and raisins evenly over the top for added texture and flavor.

Drizzle Maple Syrup: Drizzle the maple syrup over the top of the casserole for an extra touch of sweetness.

Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the casserole is puffed up and golden brown. The center should be set and no longer jiggly.

Add Icing: While baking, pop open the tube of icing that came with the cinnamon rolls. Once the casserole is out of the oven and slightly cooled, drizzle the icing over the top.

Serve: Allow the casserole to cool for about 5-10 minutes. Cut into squares and serve warm. Enjoy your delicious Cinnamon Roll Casserole Delight!
