1 pound ground beef

8 ounces cremini mushrooms, sliced

1 medium onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup beef broth

1 can (15 ounces) cream of mushroom soup

1 cup frozen peas and carrots mix

2 cups cooked egg noodles

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon dried thyme

½ teaspoon black pepper

Salt to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Sauté the Beef and Vegetables: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion becomes translucent (about 3-4 minutes). Then, add the ground beef, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.

      Add Mushrooms and Seasonings: Stir in the sliced mushrooms and cook until they are softened (about 5 minutes). Add the Worcestershire sauce, dried thyme, black pepper, and salt to taste. Mix well.

        Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the beef mixture, frozen peas and carrots, beef broth, cream of mushroom soup, and cooked egg noodles. Stir until well incorporated.

          Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch casserole dish. Spread it evenly and top with shredded cheddar cheese.

            Bake the Casserole: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and place it in the preheated oven. Bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
