Beef and Broccoli Ramen Stir Fry

8 oz ramen noodles

1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain

2 cups broccoli florets

1 red bell pepper, sliced

3 green onions, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 inch piece of ginger, grated

3 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp oyster sauce

1 tbsp sesame oil

1 tbsp vegetable oil

1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (optional for thickening)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Instructions
 

Cook the Noodles: In a large pot of boiling water, cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

    Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Set aside.

      Stir-Fry the Beef: Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sliced flank steak and stir-fry until browned and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.

        Veggies Time: In the same skillet, add the garlic and ginger. Stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Then, add the broccoli florets and red bell pepper. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

          Combine Everything: Return the beef to the skillet. Pour the sauce mixture over the beef and vegetables. If you want a thicker sauce, add the cornstarch mixture at this point. Stir well to combine, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat everything through.

            Add Noodles: Add the cooked ramen noodles to the skillet. Toss everything together until the noodles are evenly coated in the sauce and heated through.
