1 pound fresh asparagus, trimmed

8-10 slices of thick-cut bacon

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon sea salt

½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for a kick)

2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (for garnish)

Preheat Your Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.

    Prepare the Asparagus: Wash and trim the asparagus by cutting off the tough, woody ends. Pat dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.

      Season the Asparagus: In a large bowl, toss the asparagus with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, sea salt, and red pepper flakes (if using). Ensure the asparagus is well-coated with the seasoning.

        Wrap with Bacon: Take a slice of bacon and wrap it around each asparagus spear, starting at the bottom and spiraling upwards to the tip. If you have extra long asparagus, you might need to overlap slight sections of the bacon. Repeat this for all asparagus spears.
