1 cup of all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon of baking powder

1/4 teaspoon of salt

1/4 cup of unsalted butter, melted

1/2 cup of brown sugar, packed

1 large egg

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

1/2 cup of diced apples (peeled and cored)

1/4 cup of caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1/4 cup of chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

A pinch of cinnamon (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Mix Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon (if using) until well combined.

      Combine Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, mix the melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. Add the egg and vanilla extract, beating until fully incorporated.
